Sara Allen, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed by the state of Missouri . She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Missouri State University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.  Sara is a certified EMDR therapist and holds a certification in traumatic stress studies through the Trauma Center at JRI.  She is also an approved supervisor through the state of Missouri.  

Sara started her career as a youth specialist and group leader for the Division of Youth Services. She then went on to work as a case manager for children in foster care through Boys and Girls Town of Missouri. Sara worked as a residential therapist for several years and also served as a counselor for juveniles in the St. Louis County detention center. She currently works with adolescents and adults.

Sara enjoys helping others and places great importance on building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship.
