Rita earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, with an emphasis in Multicultural and Social Justice Counseling. She is under the supervision of Dana Baker, LPC, as she works toward becoming a fully Licensed Professional Counselor. She provides counseling in English and Spanish.
Rita is passionate about breaking down barriers and making therapy more accessible for underserved individuals. She works with adults and adolescents of all backgrounds struggling to live authentically and define themselves in a world obsessed with labels. She utilizes a Person-Centered approach to help clients navigate identity exploration, life transitions, trauma, relational issues, anxiety, and depression.
Rita offers a safe space for you to connect with your mind & body to heal past & present wounds. She recognizes that you hold many beautiful facets and unique experiences that make you who you are, so therapy with her is not one-size-fits-all.
